Well there's not much to say about New Years Eve this year. After our party the night before I was less then excited to be having another party. I wasn't feeling the best (not sure why) and I was so dang tired that I couldn't even keep my eyes open while we were at my parent's house. They invited us over for a nice dinner and bought some horns and confetti for the kids. After dinner Tyler and I both sat down on the couches, that was a huge mistake. I fell asleep in about ten seconds and it was only 8:00. And as you can see, I never even took off my coat.
Here's Dad, he's stunned at how wild and crazy and out of hand the party got. Or maybe it's that he is so bored and can't believe Tyler and I are so old we can't handle partying.
Dad got out the confetti for the kids but the popping sound proved to be to much for their dog. I thought he was going to have a heart attack so we decided to pack up and go home. We took the rest of the confetti with us as you can tell.
It's 9:30....New Years is over. For the Carver's anyway!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Night out with the Carver Boys!
Jordan's new girlfriend came in town after Christmas to meet the family. We thought it would be fun to go out for the evening and have a little fun while getting to know her. My parents had a sleepover with the kids so we could go out. Thanks again Mom and Dad. The kids always build a fort and they sleep in it. The kids have so much fun sleeping at Grandma and Grandpa's they are always asking when their next sleepover is going to be.
Jordan and Kolay, Jonny and Heather and Tyler and I went out to dinner and ate the most delicious food then we headed over to a club for some drinks and dancing. I drank way too much, danced way too long and stayed up way too late but I had so much fun!! Of course we all loved Kolay and we are keeping our fingers crossed that they get engaged SOON!
The next morning I woke up a little nauseated, sore from all the dancing and extremely exhausted. I'm just glad I wasn't the only one :)
Good times, good times!

Hat Party at the Reids
My Family's tradition is to have the Christmas Eve party at my house and then the day after Christmas you go over to my Aunt and Uncle's house for the crazy hat party. This year was a lot of fun with Travis, Coby and Dusty all being in town at the same time.
Dad....without his hat and Uncle Robyn
Kiana (Coby's daughter) and Zoey (Travis' daughter)
And lucky for them, I was there. So was Ty
Grandma and Shane without their hats. It's too bad to cuz they were super cute!
I have no idea what this picture is but it made me laugh. I think my Mom was trying to capture some people at the party and accidentally got me. I wonder what was so gross??
Travis, he must have thought his hat was pretty Okay.
And yeah! There's me again. I am holding one of Dusty's twins. This one is Ella.
And I had to add this just cuz Dad is wearing his hat, and holding Bodie (Coby's boy) who is just too cute to pass up.
My Dad and Tyler didn't want to leave. I think the party was just getting started when we left but I guess that's what happens when you take kid's and tired Great Grandma's and me to party's.

Christmas Eve day, Christmas Eve and Christmas day....Man I LOVE Christmas!
My Dad got my Mom, Me, my Grandma and Shayna all tickets to the Nutcracker. Thank you so much Dad! We went on Christmas Eve day. I love the Nutcracker and I love even more that Shayna loves it. She sits through the whole thing and doesn't make a sound. She is such a good girl. I can't wait until I get to watch her in the Nutcracker!!
Of course you can't go to the Nutcracker without buying a Nutcracker to add to the collection.
There was this cute jewelery box next to the Nutcrackers that Shay thought was cute, so of course she got it. It even came with a bracelet!
Santa was even at the Nutcracker, you are not allowed to have a camera inside the theater, when I was taking pictures of Shay holding her nutcracker a lady came and told me I had to take the camera to coat check or risk having it confiscated. I just put it in my purse and as we were leaving Santa was kind enough to let us take a picture with him.
*Christmas Eve*
What would Christmas Eve be without a little Karaoke and dancing?
And of course you have to open some presents!
Hilda was feeling a little left out so she went in search of her gift on her own.
And my favorite gift of the evening was this one given to me from Britton.
He is such a good kid!
Tyler (the talented man that he is) wrote music and lyrics for a Christmas song that the kids performed for everyone.
And here is a couple of pictures with Shayna and Great Grandma Donna. I could not resist putting these up.
And what would Christmas Eve be without alcohol?
And without the alcohol you can't have the hangover Christmas morning.
GOOD TIMES. I can't believe I don't have a picture of Ty. He was hurting worse then this if you can believe it.....I just laughed! I am proud to say that Ty made it through the opening of gifts and he even made everyone breakfast. Too bad we didn't see him again until about 3:00 that afternoon.
Here are some pictures of all the loot before the chaos of opening began.
And random pictures of the opening.
The kids were so much fun this year. They were so excited about everything they got. I hope next year will be just as FUN! I LOVE CHRISTMAS!! I decided not to take pictures of everything that we got this year. It was just too much. I didn't feel like organizing it all. Thank you Mom and Dad for everything you guys are the best!!

Christmas Ballet Recital
Shayna had a little Christmas Ballet Recital on Friday afternoon. It's nothing big, they get to learn a dance and then parents and Grandparents are invited to watch. Before they do the dance we get to watch them warm up with barre and floor exercises.
**NOTE: I took a whole bunch of pictures during warm up but I recorded the actual dance. I have decided not to add the video on here because I am going to make a book of my blog and obviously you can't add video to a book. But you should know that I thought she was the best and prettiest one there :)
Here are the pictures
