Soccer, soccer and more soccer

Our Nephews Jordan and Dayvin came to stay with us this weekend because Dayvin had a soccer tournament on Friday. I was quite the soccer "Mom" and I loved every minute of it.

Thursday night Tyler had a soccer game so we all met up at our house to go to the game together.

Dayvin and Bradley (nephews), Jordan (nephew) playing with the kids.

Dayvin and Jonny dancing. Johnny pretending he wasn't loving it.

Tylers soccer game.

You can rent these bikes at the indoor soccer facility. My kids love it, and so do I, they never once told my they were bored or asked for treats.

Friday was Dayvins soccer game. He had to leave the house at 6:00 for his first game so I missed that one. Jordan and I took the kids school clothes shopping. Poor Jordan, he will probably never make that mistake again, but he was a huge help to me. We finished up shopping and went to lunch and made it back in time to go to Dayvin's second game. Poor Tyler had to work so it was just the kids and I enjoying more soccer.

Dayvins team won but it still didn't give them enough points to continue. So they didn't have to play a game on Saturday. Instead they went to the mall with us to do more school clothes shopping.

Random pictures from the soccer game.

he isn't always so sweet...look how scary he can be.

Saturday night we went to the Real Salt Lake soccer game. We played Seattle Sounders and we won one to nothing. It was a good game and lots of fun to spend the time with Bradley, Christopher, Jordan, Dayvin, Dayvins friend John and of course my family. It was a great weekend and I was really sad to see Jordan and Dayvin go. They are great kids and I can't wait to see them again.

SuRpRiSe PaRtY!!!

We had a surprise party for my Dad's 60th Birthday. Here's how it all went down....

Tyler, the kids, and I went down to the condo early Friday morning. We rented a condo separate from my parents so that we could keep all of the food and decorations there without my Dad seeing everything. Friday afternoon after we had everything organized we took the kids fishing while we waited for my parents to arrive.

I had to throw that picture of Tyler in. I think he is so cute with that pink pole.

This deer was so cute. He came right down to where we were fishing and ate off of this tree.
Britton found this rock in the shape of a heart and gave it to me. Wow! I really love that kid. I now have that rock sitting on my desk at work.

This little critter would eat right out of your hand. He was so cute and provided hours of entertainment. Once word caught on that we were feeding the animals the wood peckers showed up and ate a bunch of peanuts as well. I don't have pictures of the wood peckers cuz, well, quite frankly I'm scared to death of birds and I was just trying to stay away at that point.

These cute little baby's were at the condo we stayed in. They were so hungry, every time we walked up the stairs they would put their heads up for food. They made the cutest little noises too!

Saturday = Party day

Tyler (husband) Todd (cousin) and Marc (cousin) were all given the duty to keep Dad away for a few hours to give us a chance to get everything set up. The party wasn't until 5:00 PM so the plan was to have the boys go fishing around 2:00 or 3:00 but by 12:30 my Dad couldn't sit still. So we all went fishing and at 2:00 I told my Dad the kids were done and that we would meet them back at the condo later. So Tyler, Todd and Marc had to deal with keeping him away another few hours. Which I later found out was no easy task.

Here are a few of the people just showing up and hiding on the lower deck.

Here's the big surprise, it was AWESOME! He was so shocked. I can't believe he didn't have a clue. He is one tough guy to keep secrets from and we did it.

My Dad is NOT an emotional guy, but we got him to shed a few tears so I consider that a huge success.

The cake....or cupcakes rather. Some of the cupcakes had trick candles on them so he had all of the kids help him blow them out. One of the candles we finally had to bury in dirt. It just wouldn't stop lighting back up.

Some of the party goers....

Chance, Holly and Tyler

Tyler (wearing Scott's hat) and Todd. Marc and Gage. Thank you Todd and Marc for keeping Dad occupied for so long. we couldn't have done it without you. I know it was a tough job but I know he had a lot of fun (he told me so) and couldn't ask for better people to spend the time with.

Blake, Angela and her boyfriend.

Aunt Diane (Dad's sister) and of course Tyler. Coby is in the bottom picture as well. He is Cory's (cousin) son.

Opening gifts......

Thank you Aunt Vik and Teresa (pictured above) for all of your help decorating and setting up. You made my job so much easier.

Thank you so much to everyone who came. Everyone who came helped me out in some major way so thank you to them for that.

I have a GREAT family!!!
