I can't believe it's already been a year since the family got together at La Caille for Grandma's 80th Birthday. This year we celebrated her Birthday at my house. We invited all of our family members but we have very little family that lives close by. We were lucky enough to get Uncle Robin, Aunt Ann, Coby, Jill and Kiana.
Here she is.....the Birthday girl.

This is a fun game called count down. We made it a little more exciting by betting money on it. Britton actually won. I can't believe I don't have a picture of it.
Shane taking his turn

The kids just love decorating for party's. We had a lot of fun putting streamers on the ceiling.
Shayna just loves Uncle Robin. It couldn't possibly be because he would do anything for her, like play V-smile.
Aunt Ann and Kiana. Kiana is such a precious little girl, we don't get to see her very much so I was very glad they were able to come. Tyler and I haven't stopped talking about her yet. And of course Shay LOVED her. She was having so much fun "helping" with her.

I finally have real blinds!!!
Our basement has been finished for years now and we have been using those cheap paper blinds that you get at home depot for like 2 bucks. Our cat thought it was great fun to attack the paper blinds and they were getting pretty bad. So thank you Tyler for agreeing that the blinds are a necessity. I LOVE them!

Soccer!
We were able to score some cheap tickets to take the kids to the last Real Soccer game of the season. We hopped on Front Runner by our house, we took Front Runner to the end of the line then hopped on Trax to take us to the new Rio Tinto Soccer stadium.
Here are the kids waiting for Front Runner

Being silly on Front Runner. They were so excited for the game.
There was a little carnival outside the stadium so we went a little early to enjoy the festivities.
Shayna jumping in the blowup castle.
Britton getting his picture with Leo the Lion. Shay cried when she saw him, she is petrified of people in costumes.....Halloween should be fun!
Eating hot dogs and popcorn. I must say I am a little disappointed in my children. We gave them the option of going to Applebee's for dinner or getting a hot dog at the game.....I guess you know what they chose. YUCK!
Here is Leo the Lion right by us. Britton was trying to get his attention and Shayna was crying.
Britton and Tyler cheering when Real got a goal. Real won, it was actually a really fun game and the weather was perfect.
At the carnival we all got these KFC buckets. If you wore them during the game and you got caught on camera you won $50. We didn't win.

We got home a little after 11. Way passed the kids bedtime but they did great. No crying, no complaining. I have great kids!

Pumpkin Patch
Friday Britton didn't have school because of UEA so we decided to head to the pumpkin patch. We go to this place every year but this year we were a little disappointed......they didn't have pony rides. O'well maybe next year.

Britton couldn't reach.....obviously
When we got home we had to decorate our little pumpkins. Our big pumpkins will be carved when it gets closer to Halloween....Maybe!

Fall pictures
My Fall pictures came. There were over a hundred pictures taken and these were the best out of those. Now I have to choose which ones I like the best out of these and then out of those I am going to have to choose which ones I just can't live without. HELP!! This is too hard.

Flu Shots
Shayna and Britton had their flu shots today. I thought it was going to be awful. The kids were a little nervous while we were waiting, especially Britton.
Here they are waiting for the nurse

This is after the fact

I thought there was going to be a lot more tears. Britton didn't cry at all. In fact when it was done he started laughing. I guess he was relieved because it didn't hurt as bad as he anticipated. Shay cried a little but it didn't last long. I am so proud of them for being so brave.
