Here's the post we have been waiting for!

Life has been crazy the last two weeks. It's been so long I'm not even sure where to start.
Let's see....
Shayna made us dinner one night. She made Taco soup and it was delicious. She loves to cook and I have just recently became brave enough to let her anywhere near a hot stove. I should let her do it more often. She did a great job!

When Tyler was in town we drove to Logan to watch Britton's last outdoor game of the season. They ended up losing. His team didn't have any subs and they were all exhausted. We had to hurry back to Sandy as fast as we could to make the RSL game. We thought we were going to be freezing but it actually ended up to be a really beautiful evening. The kids didn't even wear their coats.

We had some Seattle Sounders fans sitting in front of us and when one of they guys caught this RSL scarf he turned around and handed it to Shayna. SCORE! She was so excited.

It was crazy hair day at school a couple of weeks ago. Both of the kids decided what they wanted their hair to look like so that's what they did.
How cute are they?!?

HaLlY HaPpOwEeN!
Tyler got to be home with us for Halloween. It has been the LOOOONGEST four months without him. The kids miss him so much. When he comes home the kids won't leave his side. I'm glad that is all coming to an end.
We had to wait until Tyler got home to carve pumpkins so here we are Halloween Eve carving our pumpkins.

Shayna's pumpkin. She designed all by herself. For some reason I couldn't get the picture of Britton's pumpkin to work but you can see it behind Shay. He designed it all by himself and did a fantastic job.

Shane/Dad's pumpkin. Very creative and funny!

And here they are all lit up. Shayna's is on top, then Britton's and Shane's is to the right.

And when that was all done. Grandma Sharon got a hair makeover.

Beautiful!

Halloween Day.
My Mom loved her hair so much she decided to leave the color in. What a good Grandma. And she helped the kid's make cookies. It's our tradition to make and decorate sugar cookies for the holiday's. This Holiday season has been so hectic that we didn't have time to make them until Halloween day. At least it got done.

Britton isn't into it so much anymore. He cut out two cookies. Ate a bunch of dough and quit.

And then it was time to get ready for Trick-or-Treating!!
Both of the kids wanted to be the same thing as last year. Not very exciting but it worked. They had fun and I didn't have to spend money on costumes. win, win.

Shane stayed at my house and handed out candy while we all went out Trick-or-Treating.

He dressed up as a tourist in Hawaii. Haha!
The kids didn't trick or treat for long. I don't think either of them were feeling very well. We just went around the block and they were done. Tyler wasn't feeling good either. It's too bad to because we actually had really great weather this year.
Tyer had to leave early Tuesday morning and the next morning Shayna and I woke up with the stomach flu. It was terrible timing too because we had people coming to look at our house for the next two days. I had to get up and clean and disinfect the house all while feeling terrible. I felt so bad for Shay. We had to get in the car and drive over to my Mom's house so we wouldn't be home while people were walking through the house. We spent two full sick day's at my Parents....thanks for taking care of us. And again, I'm sorry.

We had our first snow day on Saturday the 5th. It was too cold to play outside and the kids have outgrown all of their snow gear so we brought the snow in to us.

They played with the snow in the sink for two days staight. They sat there and played for hours.
They thought I was the coolest Mom for thinking of that.
It's nice to be appreciated once in a while:)

SOLD!!

Our counter offer was accepted! They agreed to pay full asking price if we pay the closing costs.

DEAL!

As long as everything goes smoothly we will need to be out of our house by November 28th.

Looks like I will be taking a trip to Prescott to see exactly where it is that I will be living....Since I've never been there.

I'm so excited to become a family once again. Yipee!

I can't even believe it!!

Our house was on the MLS Website for a half an hour before our realtor got a phone call saying someone was interested. The next day they came out to look at the house. The day after that they gave us an offer.

Who would of thought?

I thought we were going to go months and months without anyone taking a look.

The offer wasn't exactly what we were hoping for so we are sending them a counter offer. I guess we will see what happens.

On another note I have so much that I need to blog about. But I have been sooo busy! And Shayna and I have had the stomach flu. So that put me out of commission for a couple of days as well. Anyway, I will try to get my Halloween posts up soon.

Until then....wish us luck!

The verdict is in.....

We are moving.

To Prescott Arizona, and I have never been there.

Ty's job gave him an offer we couldn't refuse.

As soon as our house sells we will be out of here.

I am looking forward to it and really nervous all at the same time.

Wish us luck!

So much going on

We have had a crazy couple of weeks. We put new flooring in our house and that was way more work then I was anticipating.

The kids were awesome at helping out. They loved the destruction. They pulled the linoleum out like pro's.

We previously had carpet and linoleum, the builders had to put a sub floor in so that the linoleum and carpet were the same height. We realized that we were going to have to finish extending the sub flooring to where the carpet was to even out the floor, so off to home depot we went to buy the sub floor. Tyler had to make all the cuts for the angles and then we could lay the sub floor.

Britton helped his Dad lay the sub floor. Here he is learning how to use the nail gun.

Britton and Shayna taking turns at hammering in a nail to mark the spot for the heat vent.

Since we didn't have a kitchen table for a few days the kids had to eat their breakfast pic-nic style. I thought it would be fun and adventurous....they thought differently.

Poor Hilda didn't quite know what to do with herself.

Through all of this she got an eye infection. Poor thing. I don't know if she got saw dust in her eye or if she is just stressed. I hope it goes away soon, she looks miserable.
getting closer to being done....

and even closer.....

and done....

Well almost. I still have to buy a area rug but you get the idea. I'm not sure why I didn't take a picture of the kitchen area, it has the same floor all through out. I love it!

Shayna has been complaining about headaches a lot lately. I thought maybe it had something to do with her eyes so I was kind of waiting for her school to do their vision screening. That came and went and I never heard anything from them but Shay continued to have headaches. I made her an appointment at the eye Dr. and sure enough she needed reading glasses.

She looks so cute in them and best of all....no more headaches. YEAH!!

We finally found some extra time between fixing up the house, soccer, sick cat, eye appointments, work and ballet to enjoy some time at the pumpkin patch. Shane even came with us. It took some convincing but he finally gave in and really enjoyed it.

Weird kids looking for weird pumpkins

Taking turns giving each other rides.

While the kids were playing in the hay maze Britton ran into his friend Garrett.

Either Garrett is really tall, or Britton is really short....not sure which??? Actually I do know. BOTH!

Britton trying his hardest to avoid the camera.

While Britton played in the Hay maze Shane and I took pictures of Shayna.

We found this really scary pumpkin. There are actually two spiders on this pumpkin. Can you find the other? It wasn't the spiders that scared me away, it was actually the price. Ohhhhh, shudder.

Halloween is right around the corner. I hope you have your costumes ready!

Happy Birthday Shane!

We celebrated Shane's Birthday a little early this year. We thought it would be nice to do it while Grandma Donna was in town and it happened to be during the time that Ty got to come home for a visit. Shane's best friend Stacey was there too!

Happy Birthday old man. We love you!!
