Shayna is in Kindergarten this year and Britton is in Second Grade.

The actual pictures look a lot better then these pictures. I scanned these using the wallet size photos rather then the 8 X 10 so they look pretty grainy but you get the idea.

Carver Halloween Party
We went to the Carver Halloween Party at Tyler's Mom and Dad's house. The kids had a ton of fun as usual. There were so many activities going on it was hard to keep up.
Shayna painted this shirt, Britton didn't want to do crafts so he played the Wii with Beckham while we painted.
The kids gathered around for Ghost stories. Minus some of them that didn't get in the shot. It was dark in the room and I couldn't tell where I was aiming.
another shot of the dark room. I had no idea Beckham jumped in front of the camera...silly kid!
The kids gathering around to dunk for apples. I told my kids we could try this at home....I didn't want them dunking their heads in water that a million other mouths have been in....is that bad? I just gave them an apple before it went in the water.
Playing pin the nose on the pumpkin.
and the treats they got from the scavenger hunt.
Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Carver for doing this for all of the kids every year. I know they all love it!

Rogers Wedding...One year later.
I was looking at my Uncle's facebook page. They had posted all of the pictures from their wedding last year and I noticed that I have never seen any of them. There are like 400 pictures so I decided that I would just grab the pictures that my family was in. Thank you for posting these pictures, there are some really cute ones and I'm happy to have them!

Zoo
Tyler had to go to Scottsdale Arizona this weekend for a safety course. So I loaded up the kids and went to the zoo to see all of the new baby animals. We saw a baby giraffe, elephant and gorilla. There is also baby lion cubs but we never saw them. The baby elephant and the black bears were my favorite this year. Britton's favorite was the snakes and Shayna loved the elephants. I couldn't get a picture of the baby gorilla, for some reason my camera wouldn't take a good picture through the glass. He was so cute though, he kept putting a bag over his head then he would take it off and look at everybody and then hurry and hide under the bag again...very cute!
The kids thought this was so funny. The Mama elephant would always do this pose when she would reach up for food. Very graceful for such a big creature.
The rhinos, kind of scary to think we are only separated by glass.
The baby giraffe. It was difficult to get a good picture of it but he was very cute.
Shayna was very scared of this guy. He came right up to the glass and just stared at us. Britton and I were laughing so hard at the way he was acting with us but Shay didn't think it was so cute. I wish I had a recording of her reaction.
Brittons favorite place was with the snakes. Shayna and I both hated it. And it STINKS in there.
I loved these bears, I could have sat there and watched them play all day long, but, the kids had other plans. Like.....
Sticking there heads in the tigers mouth and.....
posing with the lions and.....
posing with the gorilla and.....
riding the carousel and.....
riding the train and......
playing on the playground.
and of course you can't go to the zoo without seeing how you match up with the gorillas.
It was pretty cold but after drinking hot chocolate we had a great time. The animals were more active then I had ever seen them and the kids were so cute with their maps of the zoo. They had to be leaders and tell me where to go so I wouldn't get lost. It's a good thing they had those maps too, so they could find all the stores that sold hot dogs and cotton candy.
That night we decided to have movie night. We made a big bed in the living room and we made tapioca pudding and watched movies all night long. Shayna woke up at 5:30 that morning and whispered "Mom, I really would like to have some tapioca pudding right now". I told her if she slept for at least two more hours I would let her have it for breakfast. So we were up at 7:30 eating tapioca again.
Sunday we went over to my Mom and Dad's house so the kids could paint and winterize their train and sandbox, then we ate dinner (thank you Mom and Dad for feeding us) and then we went to the airport to pick up a very missed Dad. We are very glad to have Tyler back home!

Happy Birthday Shane!!
We celebrated Shane's Birthday in Moab this year. He loves going to Adventure Land to ride the go carts so that is where we had his party. Friday night, the night we got in Moab we went out for a birthday dinner. As you can see it was a lot of fun. The waiters had Shane put a hat on and then the waiter gave him a spoon full of whip cream and made sure to get it all over his face.
There was a guy there doing magic tricks, my kids absolutely loved it. It was very entertaining.
Saturday we went to breakfast at the Moab diner. The best breakfast place in the world. Then we went to adventure land.
I am very proud of my Mother for doing this. She hates riding the go carts. It's funny how scared she is to do it. But she did it for Shane...what a good Mom!
Singing Happy Birthday and opening gifts.
Since the weather was so beautiful we decided to go for a hike. We went out towards Dead Horse Point. Shayna has no fear and scares the heck out of me. She has no problem walking right up to the edge to see just how high she is. Now I understand why I made my parents so nervous.
Happy Birthday Shane. We love you!
