Britton has been dying to get his costume this year. He wanted to be Optimus Prime so bad, he was so afraid the costume would be gone if we didn't go GET IT RIGHT NOW! So we did, we went to Target and he found the costume he wanted. Shayna had a really hard time deciding this year so we spent about an hour looking at every costume and she finally decided on the Witch.
Tyler's Mom is doing a Halloween scrapbook of all of her Grand kids this year so she asked us to send her some pictures of the kids in their costumes. Britton and Shay took turns making up poses. I have at least 20 more pictures that I didn't post. They had a lot of fun with this. I was actually the one that said " OK, No more".
Saturday night the kids had a sleep over at my Parents house. They had so much fun. They carved pumpkins. Britton made a two mouthed monster, Shayna made a spider and Shane made a haunted house. They all turned out really cute. Since my parents had the kids Tyler and I decided to go out on the town. We went to Key's on Main. It's a dueling piano bar. It was so much fun, I highly recommend it. We took Front Runner to Trax then took Trax to the Bar. It was an easy commute but I think I like having my own vehicle better then public transportation. There are some weird people out that late at night. Thanks Mom and Dad for inviting the kids for a sleep over.
Sunday morning I went over to pick up the kids and my Dad had breakfast ready so we all ate breakfast and the kids told me all about their fun night. When we got home the kids were begging me to go play outside. So here's to the first snow storm of the year.
I have been working on making barrettes for Shay. I'm not very good but I think they are coming along.
