I'm sure there are some that would disagree with the title of my post, but in my mind I know I am right. Tyler works hard to provide for his family and sometimes we get to reap the benefits of it.
Ty took my Parents and the kids and I on a Helicopter ride this weekend. I have been wanting to see the fall colors from the helicopter and I finally got my chance. My next wish is to see the Christmas lights from the sky. I guess we will see.
Getting all gassed up.
Tyler showing Britton how to pre-flight the helicopter.
Shayna wanted to help with the pre-flight. Actually I think she just wanted to climb the ladder.
We had to split up in groups. I got to go with Britton, Dad and of course Ty.
Isn't he the cutest!
Deciding the best route to take.
On our way up!
In the air. I think we have our next pilot right here. He couldn't stop talking and asking questions. I love that he is so interested in learning everything.
Britton wanted to see the Real Salt Lake stadium from the air. So his wish was Tyler's command.
I couldn't see the stadium very well from my seat so Tyler tipped the helicopter so I could get a good picture. Talk about feeling like your on a roller coaster. Britton loved it!
The state prison. To bad the inmates were not out.
Part of Thanksgiving point. I need to take the kids to this maze. They would have a blast.
Utah Lake.
Some of the pretty fall colors we got to see.
Our shadow.
Shayna got to ride with Grandma, Grandpa and Ty.
Getting buckled in.
almost ready.
Now she is ready to go. I was really worried about her because last time we went she got motion sick. This time we gave her some Dramamine before we left.
I had to give my Mom my camera to take with them. She took this picture of Britton and I. Britton was just too tired to stand there so he asked me to hold him. I'm so glad that my 8 year old still wants me to hold him sometimes. I will be so sad when the day comes that I can't.
Some of the beautiful scenery.
Looks like the Dramamine worked. Silly girl. She was having so much fun!
A more serious picture. Static hair included.
Pretty girl.
After the flight Tyler had to put the helicopter away. So Britton was helping him get the wheels on it.
And that is when my camera died.....bummer.
Thank you Tyler for taking the time to do this. I can't believe you get to do this everyday.
When we were all done at the airport we headed over to my Parents house for the last B-B-Q of the season. No pictures, dead camera, remember? I can't believe it is going to start getting cold. I am so not ready for that. Anyway we had delicious food and the kids played in the hot tub and sandbox for hours. We even got to watch the Real game outside. And they won. So much fun! Thank you Mom and Dad we had a great time!!
P.S.
Thank you for letting the kids come over again on Sunday to play in the hot tub and feeding them dinner. You guys are the best!

how fun and scary. i dont think you could get me up in a helicopter.
I think Ethan would for sure agree about the coolness of your husband! He always says why does dad work on computers and not something like a fire fighter or something cool! I'm sure he would prefer to tell his friends that his dad is a helicopter pilot! Way to go Ty!
I think you have a cool husband!!!! Love to you all....GS
